I’m writing this mid-week, because I know if I’m doing a year of this, some exercises will be more laborious and time consuming than, say, AYMC Lesson 1.
I need to sit down this week and write out a plan – like an actual rubric. I have an idea to use Excel and make a clickable notebook of sorts. I don’t know if I’ll combine sources or keep them separate, but I do have a pretty good idea of the visual.
I’m thinking along the left spine, 1-52, maybe two rows of 26 (and that works with the alphabet too). Have a dual TOC, and write out the basics of each course (what is due when, what falls on what day, etc).
I like excel because you can count things easily, summarize things even easier, and that’s where my skillset lies. Can’t do much in Powerpoint, and I haven’t used Figma or Canva, etc.
But the top-line is I need to plan. And I need to do pre-work, sometimes even pre-writing posts and such. And I’m kind of not prepared at the moment – I know I have this stuff written down, but I can see myself falling behind if I don’t do this now.
